The final performance of the Pocahontas history play "No History Happened Here",
written by Dr. Jan Zeigler and directed by Jon Crabbe, was attended by an audience
of about 400 people on the front lawn of the Randolph County Courthouse Friday night.
The crowd seemed to really enjoy the show, and the cast and crew enjoyed the large,
appreciative crowd. Those who missed the missed a great presentation.

Beautiful weather continues. Sun not too bright, cool breeze, but not too cool.

World renown blues singer Guy Davis, son of Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, arrives at the Herron Center for lunch, and carries his own guitar.

World War II-era aircraft flew in to Pocahontas' Nick Wilson Field, and some of the planes took guests up for airial tours of the city.

Some of the antique tractors on display at Alexander Park. They had a large crowd for their farm living and toy show there.

Guy Davis awed a crowd of about 900 with his amazing gift for singing and playing the blues.

The 20-piece Ozark Orchestra Jazz Band rocked downtown Pocahontas with big band tunes we all know and love.

The power of the big orchestra and their rich music thrilled both older folks who grew up in the big band era, and school-aged youngsters in the crowd who'd never heard anything like it!
